Using Maca Powder in Recipes. Maca is one of the most interesting and powerful superfoods. You can use Maca in recipes, and you don’t even need to use alot to get full effect of it’s natural ingredients. Start with a teaspoon per serving and increase the amount as you desire. Chef’s Notes:
- Maca has been traditionally used in baked foodstuffs for centuries; try adding a few spoonfuls to any favorite recipe.
- Add 1-2 Tbsp of maca to smoothies; maca pairs especially well with other superfoods.
- Cacao is a perfect pairing with maca.
- When creating new maca recipes, try using 2 parts fat (like cacao or nut butter), 2 parts sweetener (like agave nectar or yacon syrup), and 1 part maca.
